Telegram chat button, built into your website
Let visitors reach you on Telegram for sales, support, and general questions — with one contact or a team list, displayed availability, and a message that can start for them.
What is Flidu’s Telegram website widget?
Flidu adds a Telegram contact option inside your website widget. Visitors tap Telegram, or pick a person from your team list, and the real Telegram app or site opens to continue the conversation.
How the Telegram chat button works on your website
A clean hand-off: the visitor opens your widget, taps Telegram, and the real Telegram app or site opens with your starter message where Telegram supports it. With several agents, they pick a person first. Simple for visitors. Flexible for your team.
Configure your Telegram chat button from the dashboard
Connect your Telegram username, write the description visitors read under the channel title, add a starter message, and use Test on Telegram before you publish. Renaming the channel title is included from Website Widgets Starter.
Add a description and a starter message, then use Test on Telegram. Once published, the channel shows in the dashboard’s Live Preview. The Telegram conversation itself always opens in Telegram.
Use one Telegram contact or a full team switchboard
Single Agent points everyone to one @username. Multiple Agents turns Telegram into a switchboard — visitors pick the right person, each with a role and displayed availability.
One @username for the whole site. Ideal when a single person handles every conversation.
Show a team list — Sales, Product Support, Onboarding, Partnerships, Account Management — each a separate Telegram contact. Tapping a person opens their Telegram chat.
Add Telegram agents with names, handles, and roles
Plans control how many Telegram contacts can go live. A larger team can still be saved as a draft, and it goes live once the plan includes it.
Show when your Telegram contact is available
Displayed availability sets what visitors see next to Telegram — it does not create live chat or agent routing. Choose always available, custom hours, or hide it entirely.
Availability is the schedule text shown in the widget, not live presence. The actual conversation happens in Telegram.
Use one shared Telegram schedule — then override only who needs it
For teams, one shared schedule keeps everyone consistent. If one person works different hours, add an agent override — everyone else follows the shared schedule automatically.
Place Telegram beside WhatsApp, forms, FAQs, offers, and Ask AI
Telegram does not need to replace every contact path. It can sit beside WhatsApp for instant messaging, Contact Form for email follow-up, FAQ for quick answers, Business Hours for expectations, and Ask AI for self-service answers.
Use more than one Telegram channel in the same widget
Some teams do not want one generic Telegram button. They want separate Telegram entry points for different jobs — grouped, labelled, and pointed at the right people.
Multiple Telegram instances and channel groups are included from Website Widgets Business. Visitors just see clean, separate Telegram cards — each with its own title but the same Telegram identity.
Create different Telegram widget experiences for different pages
A homepage visitor, pricing visitor, documentation reader, and partner lead often need different people. With multiple widgets, each page can show the Telegram contact that makes sense. More than one published widget starts on Website Widgets Starter, and Page Targeting is included from Pro.
Let Ask AI answer first — keep Telegram on the Contact tab
Ask AI can answer common questions in the widget. Telegram sits on the Contact tab beside it for visitors who want to continue with a person in the Telegram app. Self-service answers and human contact paths in one widget shell.
Telegram settings owners can configure
Everything that shapes the Telegram experience, from the dashboard — at a glance.
See how often visitors choose Telegram
From Website Widgets Starter, Flidu shows whether visitors are choosing Telegram and which channels they tap. The actual conversation continues in Telegram. Analytics and Data Hub stay product-line specific.
Flidu tracks widget engagement — widget opens, channel clicks, and the channel that was clicked. It does not read, store, or analyze the Telegram conversation.
More than a basic Telegram link for your website
A plain t.me link stops at one destination. Flidu wraps Telegram in a full website contact experience.
