Google Maps widget, built into your website
Let visitors find the right location and open directions in one tap — straight from your Flidu website widget.
What is Flidu’s Google Maps website widget?
It’s a Find Us / Get Directions channel inside your website widget — not just a buried footer link. It helps visitors see where you are and open directions before they leave your site.
From website visit to real-world visit
Turn “where are you?” into a short route — the visitor opens your widget, taps Find Us, picks a location if you list several, and your map link opens in a new tab.
How the Google Maps button appears on your website
It works as a Get Directions button for your website: visitors see a red map-pin row in your widget. With one location, the row shows your address under the title by default, and one tap opens your configured map link in a new tab. If you list several locations, the tap opens a list first, and each location opens its own map link.
Configure Google Maps from the dashboard
Set your business name, address, and map link, add locations and arrival tips, then save and publish. In the dashboard this channel is listed as Find Us / Maps.
Paste a Google Maps share link or any map URL. A tap on the channel opens your configured map link in a new tab — no live map embed or Google Maps API is required.
Single location for simple directions
One address, one tap. Ideal when everyone should be pointed to the same place — and included on every plan.
Multiple locations for branches, offices, and venues
Visitors pick a location from a list, and that branch’s map link opens in a new tab. Each location has its own name, city/area, address, map link, arrival tips, and show/hide toggle — and locations can be reordered. Multiple Locations publishes on Website Widgets Pro and above.
Add arrival tips visitors actually need
Arrival Tips are Find Us–specific. In a location list (Multiple Locations, on Pro and above), each location shows its tip under its row — parking, entrance, floor, reception, or delivery details that a plain map link can’t give.
Place Google Maps beside your other widget channels
Find Us can sit beside support, booking, pricing, and review channels — so visitors can contact you, ask questions, book, or visit, all from the same widget.
Use more than one Google Maps channel in the same widget
Instead of forcing every address into one generic row, add separate Find Us entries for different visitor intents — each with its own label, sitting beside your other channels. Separate channels of the same type publish on Website Widgets Business and above.
Separate channel entries, each positioned beside other channels for a different job.
Not the same as Multiple Locations mode. Multiple Locations is one Google Maps channel with several locations inside it. Multiple Google Maps channels are separate channel entries you can place beside other channels for different visitor intents.
Use different Google Maps widgets on different pages
Each widget can have its own channel mix, order, labels, and map setup — so every page can guide visitors to the right place. Running more than one published widget needs Website Widgets Starter or above.
Use Google Maps with Ask AI
Ask AI can answer “where are you located?”, “do you have parking?”, or “are you open on Saturday?” from the content you’ve given it — and Find Us, on the Contact tab, gives the address and a link that opens directions.
Google Maps settings owners can configure
Everything that shapes the Find Us experience, from the dashboard — at a glance.
See how often visitors tap Find Us
From Website Widgets Starter, Analytics counts clicks on your Find Us channel alongside your other channels, and Pro adds a Top pages list. Analytics and Data Hub stay product-line specific.
Flidu counts widget engagement only. It does not record which location a visitor picked, visitor GPS, live routes, or whether a visitor arrived — your map link opens externally.
More than a basic map link
A buried footer link stops at one destination. Flidu puts your location one tap away in your website widget.
