Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Flidu collects, uses, stores, and protects information when people use the Flidu website, dashboard, widgets, and related services. Flidu is a product of Zealsync Private Limited, registered office 11/131, Elanthoor, Pathanamthitta – 689643, Kerala, India.

01

Information We Collect

Flidu collects the information needed to provide the website, dashboard, widgets, Ask AI, contact actions, analytics, account access, billing, security, and day-to-day product operation. The sections below describe the main categories of information and how each is used.

02

Account And Workspace Information

To create and operate an account, Flidu may collect:

Name
Email address
Sign-in details: the email address you sign in with and any passkeys, authenticator app, or recovery codes you add (Flidu does not use passwords)
If you choose Continue with Google: your Google account identifier and the name and email address Google shares
Your signed-in sessions, including the browser and device type each one used
Company or website name
Workspace name and settings
Team role and access information
Communication preferences
Support or contact messages sent to Flidu

Here, "workspace" refers to how an account is organized for the people managing it — it is not a public, visitor-facing concept.

03

Website And Widget Information

When you configure Flidu, we may process:

Website and domain details
Widget configuration
Channel and action configuration
Form and Guided Form setup
Appearance settings
Targeting and visibility settings
Source setup for Ask AI
Product-line settings for Website Widgets and AI Chatbot

Website Widgets and AI Chatbot are separate product lines. Contact actions follow Website Widgets. Ask AI follows AI Chatbot. A visitor may see one combined widget experience, but product settings, usage, records, and analytics remain organized by product line where applicable.

04

Visitor Submissions And Widget Interactions

When visitors interact with a Flidu widget, Flidu may process:

Submitted contact details
Form responses
Guided Form answers
Feedback
Selected contact actions
Visitor questions submitted to Ask AI
Widget opens, clicks, and usage events
Source-card interactions where available
The website page URL for submitted responses, excluding URL queries and fragments
The page path where the widget is shown and the device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop)
The domain of the referring website and the campaign (UTM) values of the page, used to apply targeting rules the website owner has set
IP address and browser details, used when a request arrives to work out a country, count unique visitors with a keyed hash that changes each monthly usage period, and limit abuse
Country-level or aggregated visibility and analytics signals where available

Website owners should not request or submit unnecessary sensitive information through public widgets. Country-level visibility and analytics are not designed to show exact visitor location. Flidu's application does not save raw IP addresses in its database.

05

Ask AI Sources And Answers

Ask AI may use configured website pages, approved source URLs, sitemap or manually added URLs, uploaded or approved source content, manual questions and answers, corrections, preferred answers, and related training settings to provide source-aware answers.

Source Cards may show visitors the public source context used for an answer where available. You should not add private or internal material unless you intend it to be used in the Ask AI experience. Ask AI is designed to be helpful but is not positioned as perfectly accurate, and answers point visitors to sources and next steps.

06

Analytics And Usage Data

Flidu may collect and display product activity and usage information, such as:

Widget opens
Channel clicks
Contact action activity
Form or Guided Form activity
Visitor questions
Unanswered questions and content gaps where available
Source pages used or clicked where available
Usage counters
Country-level or aggregated performance signals where available

Analytics are intended to help website owners understand patterns and improve pages, content, and contact paths. They are not designed to provide a full individual visitor history.

If a website owner turns on the Google Analytics 4 Integration for a widget, the widget passes the selected interaction events to the Google tag already installed on that website. Flidu does not install Google Analytics.

07

Cookies And Local Storage

Flidu may use cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies to:

Keep users signed in
Protect sessions
Remember preferences
Carry sign-in and sign-up steps from one screen to the next
Support security and abuse prevention

Flidu does not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. Flidu widgets installed on customer websites do not set cookies or write to browser storage. The Cookie Policy lists the cookies and storage Flidu sets. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are added later, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated before they are used.

08

How We Use Information

Flidu uses information to:

Create and maintain accounts
Operate the dashboard, widgets, and product settings
Provide Contact and Ask AI experiences
Answer visitor questions through Ask AI
Deliver, display, store, or organize visitor submissions where configured
Provide analytics and usage counters
Protect against spam, abuse, and misuse
Communicate about account, billing, product, security, or service matters
Improve reliability, usability, and product quality
09

How We Share Information

Flidu does not sell personal information. Flidu may share or process information through trusted services needed to operate the product, in categories such as:

Hosting and infrastructure
Database and storage
Email delivery
Payment processing
AI processing for Ask AI features
Security and abuse-prevention services

We use these services only as needed to operate, secure, bill for, support, and improve Flidu.

The services Flidu currently relies on are: Vercel (website and application hosting, bot protection on sign-in requests, and the AI Gateway that routes Ask AI requests); Supabase (database and file storage); Resend (account, notification, and form-submission emails); Dodo Payments (checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and payment processing); Anthropic, reached through Vercel AI Gateway (generating Ask AI answers with Claude models, including Claude Haiku 5.5 on Free); OpenAI, reached through the same Gateway (GPT-6 Luna on paid public plans, explicitly selected models, and embedding source content for retrieval); and Google, only if you choose Continue with Google to sign in.

When Ask AI is enabled, visitor questions and the relevant source content are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to Anthropic to generate answers. Source content and retrieval queries are sent through the Gateway to OpenAI to create embeddings for retrieval.

10

Payment And Billing Information

Payment details are handled by Dodo Payments, the payment provider Flidu uses. Flidu may store billing status, plan, invoice, subscription, or transaction references needed to operate accounts and subscriptions. Flidu does not store full payment card details.

11

Data Retention

Flidu keeps information for as long as needed to provide the product, maintain accounts, operate features, meet legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

On Website Widgets Starter and Pro, form submissions are emailed to the website owner and are not kept as records in Flidu. On Business, Contact Form, Feedback, and Guided Form submissions are kept in the Data Hub for 12 months, and on Agency for 24 months, then removed. On Enterprise, retention is set in the agreement.
Ask AI conversations are assigned a retention period by the AI Chatbot plan when they start: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter, 90 days on Pro, 12 months on Business, and 24 months on Agency. On Enterprise, retention is set in the agreement.
You may change or delete configuration data where available.
Some information may be retained for billing, legal, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or operational reasons.
Aggregated or de-identified insights may be retained for product improvement.
12

Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights. To make a privacy request, use the Contact page.

13

Security

Flidu uses practical safeguards to protect account, product, and visitor-submitted information, including access controls, secure sessions, role-based access where applicable, spam and abuse controls, and operational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect information appropriately.

See Security & Trust for a product-level security overview.

14

Children's Privacy

Flidu is not intended for children. Users should not knowingly collect personal information from children through Flidu widgets unless they have the required rights, notices, and permissions.

15

International Use

Flidu may be operated using services in different countries. By using Flidu, information may be processed where Flidu and its service providers operate, subject to applicable requirements.

16

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, legal requirements, or operational practices change. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
