Booking link widget, built into your website
Add a clean booking button inside the Flidu visitor-facing widget. Show a short intro screen, customize the intro text and button label, connect an external booking URL, and place booking beside Contact Form, WhatsApp, FAQ, Business Hours, Services & Pricing, Offers, Resources, and Ask AI.
What is Flidu’s Book Appointment widget?
Book Appointment is a Website Widgets channel. It appears inside the visitor-facing widget as a booking row, and opens a short intro screen with your button. Owners configure the booking URL, button label, and intro text from the dashboard. It can run on its own or beside Ask AI in a Contact + Ask AI widget, useful when visitors are ready to schedule, request a demo, book a consultation, or choose a time through an external booking page.
Flidu guides visitors to the configured external booking link. The booking flow itself happens outside Flidu.
How the booking button appears on your website
Visitors open booking from the channel list, see a short intro with a clear CTA, and continue to your external booking page when ready. The intro adds context before they leave the site.
The booking button opens the configured external booking link. Flidu does not own the calendar or the booking process.
Configure your booking link from the dashboard
Set the external Booking URL, the Button Label visitors click, and the intro text shown above the button. A draft summary shows the channel title and button label before you publish.
Connect any valid external booking link
Book Appointment points visitors to a configured external scheduling page. Examples include external scheduling pages such as Calendly, Cal.com, TidyCal, Google Calendar appointment pages, or any valid custom booking URL. The booking happens on that external page.
A short intro before visitors leave your site
Every Book Appointment channel opens a short intro inside the widget first: your intro text and your button. Pressing the button opens your external booking page in a new tab.
Visitor opens the booking row, reads your intro text inside the widget, then clicks the button — and the external booking page opens in a new tab.
Add the same booking URL as a Custom Link. A Custom Link row opens the page directly, without an intro.
Shape the booking CTA visitors actually see
Make the booking action match the page and visitor intent — the button label and intro text are yours to set.
Place booking beside your other widget channels
Book Appointment is part of Website Widgets, so you control where it sits in the Contact tab. Put it after Business Hours when visitors want to choose a time, or after Services & Pricing when they’re comparing.
Use more than one booking link in the same widget
A basic booking button points to one generic page. From Website Widgets Business, one Flidu widget can show different booking links for different visitor intents — each with its own URL, intro text, and label.
Use different booking experiences on different pages
One website doesn’t need one generic booking link everywhere. With more than one published widget (Starter and above), each page can show its own booking CTA and surrounding actions.
Each row is a separate published widget. Example URLs: example.com/pricing · example.com/services · example.com/courses
Booking beside Contact Form, WhatsApp, Business Hours, and Ask AI
Booking works best as part of the visitor journey. Visitors can check Business Hours, read FAQ or Resources, compare Services & Pricing, view Offers, ask Ask AI, or send a structured request — then open the external booking link when they’re ready to choose a time.
Ask AI can answer first, then booking is ready in the Contact tab
Ask AI belongs to AI Chatbot and Book Appointment belongs to Website Widgets, but both can appear inside one visitor-facing widget experience. Ask AI answers from configured sources; booking stays available in the Contact tab when the visitor is ready to schedule.
Ask AI does not schedule appointments, change availability, or send calendar invites. Booking opens the external page, and the scheduling flow happens there.
Booking settings owners can configure
See how often visitors click to book
From Website Widgets Starter, Analytics counts clicks on your Book Appointment channel. Pro adds a Top Pages list, and Business adds a filter for a single channel. When Ask AI shares the widget, AI Chatbot analytics, from AI Chatbot Starter, also count Contact actions taken after a question. Analytics and Data Hub stay product-line specific.
Flidu counts clicks on the booking row and the booking button. The actual scheduling flow happens on the configured external booking page.
More than a basic booking link for your website
A footer booking link sits alone, disconnected from the visitor’s questions. The Book Appointment channel lives inside the widget, adds context, and connects to everything else.
Practical Booking Link widget setups
Each setup pairs a booking instance with example CTA copy, neighboring channels, and what the owner learns.
