What is Flidu’s Custom Link widget?
It’s a flexible link button inside your website widget — best for any important destination that should be easier to find than a footer link or a hidden menu item.
A link launcher, not another menu
Your main navigation doesn’t need to carry every action. Put high-intent links where visitors already ask for help — inside the widget. Each shortcut is visitor intent → Custom Link → external destination.
Configure Custom Links from the dashboard
Rename it to match the action, enter a web address, a phone number, or an email address, pick a preset icon or upload your own, and publish when it is ready.
Preset icons, or upload your own brand icon
Use a preset icon for generic destinations, or upload a branded image for apps, portals, communities, products, downloads, or partner links. Uploaded icons are included from Website Widgets Starter; on Free, choose a preset icon.
How Custom Link appears on the widget
Visitors see your Custom Link as a normal channel row with your label and icon. One tap opens the destination: a web address opens in a new tab unless you turn Open in new tab off, a phone number opens the visitor’s phone app, and an email address opens their email app.

Custom Links beside your other widget channels
Custom Links are the glue between Flidu’s built-in channels and the pages and tools your business already uses. Several Custom Links in one widget is included from Website Widgets Business. On Free, Starter, and Pro each widget carries one Custom Link beside your other channels.
One website, multiple widgets, page-specific Custom Links
Create different widgets for different pages or campaigns — each widget has its own Custom Links and its own install snippet. More than one published widget needs Website Widgets Starter or higher, Page Targeting is included from Pro, and several Custom Links in one widget from Business.
Know how often visitors tap your Custom Links
From Website Widgets Starter, Analytics counts Custom Link clicks beside your other channels, by website and widget. Pro adds a Top Pages list, and Business adds a filter for a single channel. From AI Chatbot Starter, Contact Actions After Ask AI counts Custom Link clicks that follow an Ask AI conversation in the same widget. Analytics and Data Hub stay product-line specific.
Flidu counts the click inside your widget. It does not confirm what visitors do after they leave your site unless that destination has its own analytics.
