Guided form widget, built into your website
Add a guided step-by-step form inside the Flidu visitor-facing widget. Ask one question at a time with eight field types, required and optional steps, and a success message when the visitor is done. Completed answers are emailed to you.
What is Flidu’s Guided Form website widget?
Guided Form is a Website Widgets channel — a guided form that asks one question at a time inside the visitor-facing widget. It’s useful when a simple contact form is too flat and the business needs structured answers: a Request a Quote form, Request a Callback, Project Enquiry, Client Intake, Product Recommendation, or Course Enquiry. Owners configure everything from the dashboard, and it can sit in a Contact-only widget or a Contact + Ask AI widget experience. It publishes on Website Widgets Pro and above.
How the guided lead form appears on your website
Visitors move through one question at a time. Required questions must be answered before moving forward, optional ones can be skipped, and every visitor gets the same questions in the same order — the flow stays inside the widget until the visitor submits. This is a configured Guided Form, not AI asking questions.
Configure Guided Form from the dashboard
Everything in the guided flow is owner-configured. Save it as a draft, then publish it when it is ready.
Build the form from your own questions
A new form starts empty. Pick a Template label for the form’s purpose — Request a Quote, Request a Callback, Free Consultation, Project Enquiry and more — then add your questions one at a time and mark each one required or optional. A form needs at least one question before it can be published.
Build guided questions with the right field type
Each step is one question with a label, a field type, optional helper text, and a Required checkbox.
What visitors see after they submit
Completed answers are emailed to your website’s Notification Email, which you set once in Site Settings — every Guided Form on that website sends to the same address. The visitor sees “Thanks!” followed by the Success Message you wrote.
Visitors answer one question at a time. With step progress on, they see “Question 2 of 3”, and Back lets them change an earlier answer.
Guided Form has no consent checkbox. Put any consent or privacy wording in the form’s Intro, which visitors read before the first question.
From Website Widgets Business, each submission is also kept in the Data Hub as a record with its source page.
Place Guided Form beside your other widget channels
Guided Form is part of Website Widgets, so you control the channel order. Put it after Services & Pricing for quote requests, after Offers for campaign follow-up, after Resources for a project enquiry, or beside Contact Form when structured answers are needed.
Use more than one Guided Form in the same widget
A basic website has one generic form. From Website Widgets Business, one Flidu widget can show more than one Guided Form for different visitor intents — each with its own title, questions, and success message. Make another one with Duplicate in the Channel Builder.
Use different Guided Form experiences on different pages
One website doesn’t need one generic form everywhere. With more than one published widget, each page can show its own guided form and surrounding actions.
Each row is a separate published widget. Example URLs: example.com/pricing · example.com/services · example.com/courses · example.com/offer
Guided Form beside Contact Form, WhatsApp, resources, offers, and Ask AI
Visitors can read FAQ first, check Business Hours before requesting a callback, view Services & Pricing before requesting a quote, or read Resources before a project enquiry. Contact Form stays right for simple messages, WhatsApp for direct contact, Book Appointment for choosing a time — and Guided Form when the business needs structured answers.
Ask AI belongs to AI Chatbot and Guided Form belongs to Website Widgets — they appear together inside one visitor-facing widget experience. Ask AI answers from configured sources and can send visitors to the Contact tab with “Contact the team”; it does not fill the form, score leads, or route submissions.
Guided Form settings owners can configure
See how often your Guided Form is opened and completed
Website Widgets analytics count clicks on the Guided Form channel and completed submissions by channel type. On Website Widgets Business and above, submissions are also kept in the Data Hub as records with their source page. Analytics and Data Hub stay product-line specific.
Guided Form analytics count clicks and completed submissions. They do not create a CRM, sales pipeline, reply workflow, or automatic lead scoring system, and they do not track drop-off by step.
More than a basic lead form for your website
One long static form asks everything at once. The Guided Form channel guides visitors step by step, inside the widget, on the page they’re already reading.
Practical Guided Form widget setups
Each setup pairs a guided form with example questions, neighboring channels, and what the owner learns.
