Feedback widget, built into your website
Add a structured Feedback button inside the Flidu visitor-facing widget. Visitors tap Feedback, choose a rating, optionally add a comment, and optionally allow follow-up. You configure it all from the dashboard, and each response is emailed to you. From Website Widgets Business it is also stored as a record.
What is Flidu’s Feedback website widget?
Feedback is a Website Widgets channel. It appears as a Contact action inside one visitor-facing widget experience, where visitors rate their experience and optionally leave a comment. It can ask whether the visitor is open to being contacted, and it is separate from the Leave a Review channel — Feedback collects private, in-widget signals for you, not public reviews.
Feedback collects ratings and optional comments inside the widget. It is one-way — visitors rate and optionally comment, not a two-way messaging channel — and Flidu emails each response to you, with stored records from Website Widgets Business.
How the Feedback button appears on your website
A visitor opens the widget, taps Feedback, picks a rating, and — only if they want — adds a comment or shares contact details. Each submitted rating is emailed to your website’s Notification Email.
Configure Feedback from the dashboard
Pick a rating style, decide whether comments and contact permission are offered, and turn on a low-rating alert. New feedback is emailed to your website’s Notification Email, which you set in Site Settings.
Choose the right rating style for the moment
Four styles, four different visitor experiences. Pick Stars or Scale 1–5 if you want the Data Hub’s Feedback average, which starts on Website Widgets Business.
Visitor-facing UI differs by style. From Website Widgets Business, the Data Hub’s Feedback average counts Stars and Scale 1–5 ratings only; Emoji and Thumbs ratings are kept as categories.
Keep it quick — or invite more when it helps
Feedback stays lightweight. Comments and contact permission are optional, so visitors can rate and send in a moment, while those who want to say more still can.
Pick a rating and send — ideal for quick “how did we do?” moments on any page.
The optional comment field captures more detail only when the visitor has something to add.
“Can we contact you?” lets visitors choose to share a name and email — never forced.
Feedback can stay anonymous when visitors only want to rate, or collect follow-up details when they choose to be contacted. It never becomes a two-way messaging channel.
Know straight away when a rating is low
Turn on Low-Rating Alert and the lowest rating — 1 of 5, the Bad emoji, or a thumbs down — reaches your notification email flagged as a low-rating alert. Visitors see the same optional comment box for every rating.
Place Feedback beside your other widget channels
Feedback is part of Website Widgets. Drag it into the order you want and turn it on or off from the Channel Builder — visitors can read FAQ, view services, open a resource, or ask AI, and Feedback can still be there as a quick way to rate the experience.
Use more than one Feedback channel in the same widget
Because one “Feedback” channel is often too broad, Website Widgets Business and above let one widget carry more than one — Product Feedback, Website Feedback, Course Feedback, or Onboarding Feedback — each with its own title, rating style, and order.
Each one is a separate channel — not a full survey platform or public review system. More than one Feedback channel in a widget needs Website Widgets Business or above, where Data Hub records can also be filtered by channel.
Use different Feedback widgets on different pages
One website doesn’t need the same Feedback row everywhere. Each widget has its own install snippet, so different pages can load widgets whose Feedback channels have different titles and surrounding actions.
The channel title and description are yours to set; the rating prompt is always “How was your experience?” Example URLs: example.com/pricing · example.com/product · course.example/program · clinic.example/treatments
Feedback beside FAQ, Resources, Offers, and Ask AI
Feedback is part of the visitor journey, not a buried “email us” link. Visitors can read FAQs, view services, open a resource, view Offers, submit a Guided Form, message on WhatsApp, or head to an external booking link — all inside one visitor-facing widget, in the channel order you set.
Ask AI can answer first, while Feedback stays one tap away
Ask AI answers from configured sources; Feedback stays on the Contact tab so visitors can rate their overall experience. They appear together inside one visitor-facing widget experience.
Feedback settings owners can configure
See how visitors feel — and where to improve
On Website Widgets Business and above, the Data Hub keeps each Feedback response as a record with its rating, comment, contact details when shared, and source page, and shows a Feedback average with a six-month trend. Analytics and Data Hub stay product-line specific.
Feedback records show the rating, the comment and contact details when a visitor shares them. They do not include session replay, heatmaps, or exact visitor identity.
More than a generic “email us” feedback link
A plain “email us” link gives you no structure and no rating. The Feedback channel lives in the widget, captures a rating in one tap, and emails each response to you, with stored records from Website Widgets Business.
Practical Feedback widget setups
Each setup pairs a Feedback channel title with a rating style, where it lives, and what the owner learns.
