Usage Counters And Limits
Flidu counts usage separately for Website Widgets and AI Chatbot. This guide lists each counter, where to read it in the dashboard, the limit on each plan and what happens when you reach it.
Every Flidu plan comes with allowances, and the dashboard counts your use against each one. Website Widgets and AI Chatbot keep separate counters with separate limits. They are never added together, and Bundle & Save changes the price only.
Where To Read Your Usage
- Workspace Usage, at the foot of the sidebar, has one row for Website Widgets visitors and one for AI Chatbot messages. A row reads Nearing limit or Over limit when it needs attention. When nothing does, View Usage opens Billing.
- Billing shows a plan card for each product line on Overview. The Website Widgets and AI Chatbot tabs each have a usage card that lists every counter for that line.
- Analytics, on the Website Widgets tab, shows your visitor count against the allowance. On paid plans it is a Monthly Website Widget visitors meter with the current period and reset date; on Free it is four counter tiles.
- AI Chatbots shows your plan with Assistants, AI messages, Indexed pages and Resets. Each assistant also has a Usage tab.
Billing is open to the workspace Owner and to Admins the Owner has given billing access. The other places are part of the normal dashboard.
Website Widgets Counters
| Counter | Free | Starter | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Websites | 1 | 1 | 10 | 25 |
| Published widgets | 1 | 10 | 50 | 100 |
| Draft widgets | 2 | 5 | 25 | 50 |
| Monthly visitors | 1,000 | 15,000 | 50,000 | 100,000 |
Agency plans take these four limits from the preset you choose, and Enterprise limits follow your agreement. See Pricing for the presets.
Websites, published widgets and draft widgets count what exists in the workspace right now, so they go down when you remove something. Monthly visitors counts unique visitors to your widgets in the current period. The visitor allowance applies to the Contact side of a widget: an Ask AI-only placement is included with your AI Chatbot plan and does not use it. Widget Limits And Visitor Counting goes into detail.
On the usage card, a row shows Near limit, At limit or Over limit beside its figures. When a website or widget limit is full, the next one cannot be created. At the website limit, New Website Widget in the Create menu is marked Limit reached. At a widget limit, adding a widget opens a Widget limit reached dialog that lists your used and remaining slots.
What Happens As Visitors Pass The Allowance
| Monthly Visitors Used | Dashboard Notice | What Changes |
|---|---|---|
| 80% | “You’re approaching your monthly Website Widget visitor allowance” | Nothing. It is a warning. |
| 100% | “Your monthly Website Widget visitor allowance is used up” | Nothing yet. Detailed analytics are still collected. |
| 120% | “Website Widget analytics are paused” | Detailed analytics stop until the next period or an upgrade. Visitor counting continues. The gap is not backfilled. |
| 150% | “Premium Website Widget features are limited” | Premium Website Widgets features are limited for the rest of the period. Core Contact options stay available. |
These thresholds apply to Free, Starter, Pro, Business and Agency. On Enterprise they follow your agreement. On paid plans the notices appear on the Website Widgets tab of Analytics, and the Website Widgets usage card in Billing shows a shorter line on every plan. Your widget keeps loading for visitors at every stage. Ask AI is not affected by the visitor allowance. For the full picture, see Usage Limits, Grace Thresholds, And What Happens Next.
AI Chatbot Counters
| Counter | Free | Starter | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Assistants | 1 | 3 | 5 | 10 |
| Monthly messages | 100 | 3,000 | 10,000 | 20,000 |
| Indexed pages per assistant | 50 | 250 | 500 | 1,000 |
Agency plans take these limits from the preset you choose, and Enterprise limits follow your agreement.
- Monthly messages go up each time Ask AI answers a question. Questions you ask in an assistant’s Preview tab count too.
- Indexed pages counts the website pages an assistant has indexed. A page you ignore keeps its place in the count.
- Assistants counts the assistants in the workspace. An archived assistant no longer counts toward the plan.
An assistant’s Usage tab shows two meters, AI messages and Indexed pages, then tiles for Assistants, Reset date and Data sources, and a count of recrawls used this month where your plan shows it. The AI Model Quality card shows your plan’s tier label. Free uses Claude Haiku 5.5 and paid public plans use GPT-6 Luna; an explicit internal or Enterprise assignment takes precedence. A configured spend cap is also required before answering.
What Happens At An AI Chatbot Limit
- From 80% of your monthly messages, the assistant page states your usage as a percentage, for example “You’ve used 85% of your monthly AI messages.” The sidebar row reads Nearing limit.
- At the limit, the notice reads “You’ve reached your AI message limit”. Ask AI stays in the widget, and visitors who ask a question see only “This feature is temporarily unavailable.”
- Contact channels on the same widget keep working, because they follow your Website Widgets plan.
- Ask AI answers again when the counter resets or after you upgrade AI Chatbot. Self-serve plans have no overage: nothing extra is billed.
When an assistant reaches its indexed-pages limit, further indexing is refused with “Indexed page limit reached.” When the assistant limit is full, New AI Chatbot in the Create menu is marked Limit reached. See AI Chatbot Allowances and, if visitors are already affected, I Reached My Monthly AI Message Limit.
Resets And Separate Product Lines
Monthly visitors and monthly messages reset every month. The reset date is printed beside each counter: on the plan cards on Billing’s Overview, as Usage resets on the Website Widgets usage card and as Messages reset on the AI Chatbot usage card. Websites, widgets, assistants and indexed pages do not reset. They change only when you add or remove something.
The two product lines never share a limit. Reaching the visitor allowance does not slow Ask AI, and running out of AI messages does not touch your Contact channels. Upgrading one line raises that line’s limits only. See Plans Per Product Line.
