My Widget Reached Its Monthly Visitor Limit
Passing the monthly visitor allowance does not switch your widget off. Analytics pause at 120% and premium features pause at 150%, until the count resets next month or you upgrade Website Widgets.
Reaching the monthly visitor allowance does not take your widget off your site. The allowance belongs to your Website Widgets plan and is counted for the whole workspace, across every website and widget in it. What changes depends on how far past the allowance you are, and everything returns when the count resets or you upgrade. Your visitors are never shown a limit or an upgrade message.
Check Which Stage You Are At
- Open Billing. On the Overview tab, the Website Widgets card shows Monthly Unique Website Widget Visitors with the count, the allowance, the percentage used and the reset date.
- Open the Website Widgets tab. From 80%, a card at the top reads “You’ve used” followed by the percentage, with a bar marked Normal, 80% warning, 100% grace and 120% paused.
- Compare your percentage with the table below.
| Allowance Used | Dashboard Message | What Changes |
|---|---|---|
| 80% | Approaching your monthly visitor limit. | Nothing. This is an early warning. |
| 100% | Over your monthly visitor limit. | Nothing yet. The widget and every feature keep working. |
| 120% | Website Widgets analytics are paused until your visitor usage resets or you upgrade. | Detailed Website Widgets analytics stop being collected. Visitor counting continues. |
| 150% | Some premium Website Widgets features are limited until your visitor usage resets or you upgrade. | Premium channels and features pause on the live widget. Core channels keep working. |
These percentages apply on Free, Starter, Pro, Business and Agency. Enterprise thresholds are set in your agreement.
What Visitors See Past 150%
- Premium channels stay listed but are muted. Contact Form, Feedback, FAQ, Business Hours, Book Appointment, Services & Pricing, Resources, Offers and Guided Form show “This feature is temporarily unavailable.” and cannot be opened. Form submissions are not accepted meanwhile.
- WhatsApp and Telegram keep working with their first agent only. Extra agents are paused.
- Visibility rules and presentation features you have published are paused. The widget shows without them, so it can appear where a rule would normally hide it. The widget’s Visibility & Targeting tab lists the features affected.
- Everything else keeps working. That includes Messenger, Instagram DM, Find Us / Maps, Leave a Review, Custom Links and Ask AI. Ask AI follows your AI Chatbot plan, not the visitor allowance.
In the dashboard, the widget’s Channels tab shows a notice that starts “Premium channels are temporarily limited”, and the affected rows read Temporarily limited.
Fix It Now By Upgrading Website Widgets
A larger plan has a larger allowance, so the same visitor count becomes a smaller percentage and the stages lift.
| Website Widgets Plan | Monthly Visitors |
|---|---|
| Free | 1,000 |
| Starter | 15,000 |
| Pro | 50,000 |
| Business | 100,000 |
| Agency | 500,000 to 3,000,000, by preset |
| Enterprise | Custom |
- In Billing, open the Website Widgets tab. Click Upgrade Website Widgets on the card that shows your percentage, or Change Plan on the Current Plan card.
- Select a plan with a larger allowance. Prices are on Pricing.
- On Free, click Upgrade to followed by the plan name and complete checkout. The new allowance applies when the payment provider confirms the payment.
- On a paid plan, set Change timing to Immediately, prorated, then click Review plan change and Confirm plan change. The default, Next billing date, keeps your current allowance until the billing period ends.
Upgrade the right product line. A larger AI Chatbot plan does not raise the visitor allowance, and Bundle & Save changes price only. Billing is open to the workspace Owner and to Admins with billing access.
Or Wait For The Monthly Reset
The count follows the calendar month in UTC, not your billing date. It starts again on the first day of the next month, and Billing shows the reset date beside the count. You do not need to do anything.
After The Stage Lifts
- Returns by itself. Premium channels, extra agents, visibility rules and presentation features work again on the live widget, and analytics start collecting again.
- Needs publishing. Changes you made to premium channels or features during the pause were saved as drafts. Open each one and publish it.
- Does not come back. Analytics for the paused days. The dashboard marks them as a data gap, and the missing analytics are not filled in later.
If The Stage Looks Wrong
- The visitor figure shows a dash. Monthly visitor usage is still being calculated. Refresh a little later.
- The count looks too high for one website. It covers every website in the workspace. A visitor is counted once a month when a page loads your widget, whether or not they open it. See Widget Limits And Visitor Counting.
- You upgraded but the percentage has not moved. The allowance changes when the payment is confirmed. See I Paid But My Plan Has Not Updated.
- Ask AI stopped answering. That is the AI message allowance, not visitors. See I Reached My Monthly AI Message Limit.
A correct result looks like this: the Website Widgets card in Billing shows a percentage below the stage you were at, the warning notices are gone from the Channels and Visibility & Targeting tabs, and the muted channels open again on your site.
