I Want To Change Or Cancel My Plan
Open Billing and choose the product line. Move between paid plans with a reviewed change, or use Cancel Plan to return that line to Free at the end of the period you have paid for.
Website Widgets and AI Chatbot each have their own plan in every workspace, so you change or cancel one product line at a time. Open Billing, then the Website Widgets tab or the AI Chatbot tab. Billing is open to the workspace Owner and to Admins the Owner has given billing access. Plans belong to one workspace, so check you are in the right one first.
Start A Paid Plan From Free
- On the Website Widgets tab, click Change Plan on the Current Plan card. On the AI Chatbot tab, click Upgrade AI Plan.
- Pick Monthly or Yearly, select a plan, and click Upgrade to followed by the plan name. For Agency, choose a preset.
- Read the review, then confirm with Upgrade Website Widgets or Upgrade AI Chatbot. You pay on the secure checkout of the payment provider, Dodo Payments, and return to Billing.
The plan becomes active when the payment provider confirms the payment, not at the moment you return. If it still shows Free, see I Paid But My Plan Has Not Updated.
Switch Between Paid Plans
When a line already has an active subscription, one control handles an upgrade, a move to a lower paid plan, a different Agency preset and a switch between monthly and yearly billing.
- Open the plan drawer. On the Website Widgets tab, click Change Plan. On the AI Chatbot tab, click the Choose button on a plan card under AI Chatbot Plans.
- Select the plan and billing cycle you want.
- Set Change timing. Next billing date is selected by default: nothing is charged now, and you keep your current plan and limits until the billing period ends. Immediately, prorated charges the prorated amount shown in the review to your saved payment method and applies the new plan once that is confirmed.
- Click Review plan change and check the price, the timing and the effective date.
- Click Confirm plan change. Keep current plan closes the review without changing anything.
Until the payment provider confirms the change, Billing shows a banner such as “Website Widgets: Pro change pending” and your current plan stays in place. If the charge for an immediate change fails, the change is not applied.
Cancel A Plan And Return To Free
- On the product line’s tab, click Cancel Plan on the current plan card.
- Read the Cancel Website Widgets? or Cancel AI Chatbot? dialog and tick the acknowledgement.
- Click Cancel Website Widgets or Cancel AI Chatbot. Keep Website Widgets or Keep AI Chatbot closes the dialog without cancelling.
Cancelling is never an immediate downgrade. The plan stays active, with all its limits, until the end of the billing period you have paid for. Once the payment provider confirms the request, the Website Widgets card reads Ends followed by the date, and the AI Chatbot card shows the date the cancellation is scheduled for. After that date the line is on Free. The other product line is not affected.
What Changes On A Lower Plan Or On Free
- Your setup is kept. Channels, visibility rules, assistants and indexed sources are not deleted.
- What visitors see follows the new plan. A channel type the plan does not include stops showing in the widget until you upgrade again.
- Limits follow the new plan, so anything you add or publish afterwards is checked against them.
- Data Hub for a product line needs Business or higher on that line. Export the records you need before the end date. See Exports.
- If neither line is on Business or higher, the Powered by Flidu link shows on your widgets again.
- Bundle & Save ends when either line is no longer on a paid plan.
If The Change Does Not Go Through
- There is no Cancel Plan button. The line is on Free, a cancellation is already scheduled, or the card reads Managed by Flidu. A managed plan was set by Flidu rather than bought at checkout, so contact us to change it.
- The button reads Plan change unavailable. An online plan change needs an active subscription that the payment provider has confirmed.
- “A verified price review is unavailable right now.” Your current plan remains. A line that is scheduled to cancel shows this message. Otherwise, try again later.
- “A plan change is already pending.” Wait for the first change to be confirmed.
- Selecting Free in the drawer shows a disabled button that points to Cancel Plan. A paid line returns to Free through Cancel Plan, not through the drawer.
- A dialog titled We Couldn’t Complete That Change. Nothing was changed. Click Try Again, and contact us if it happens a second time.
A correct result looks like this: after a plan change, the current plan card shows the new plan with its renewal date. After a cancellation, the card shows when the plan ends and the Cancel Plan button is gone.
