Website Widgets Analytics
Website Widgets Analytics counts widget opens, Contact tab opens, channel clicks and Contact actions. Free shows the visitor counter only; detailed figures start on Website Widgets Starter.
Website Widgets Analytics shows how visitors use the Contact side of your widgets: how often a widget is opened, how often the Contact tab is shown, which channels are pressed and how many Contact actions are completed. It is separate from AI Chatbot analytics and follows your Website Widgets plan only.
Where To Find It
In the dashboard sidebar, open Analytics. The page opens on Overview, a short summary of both product lines. Select the Website Widgets tab for the full view. A chip beside the page title shows how far back your plan keeps analytics, for example 30-day retention.
To see one widget on its own, stay on this tab and choose it in the widget filter, which reads All widgets until you pick one.
What Each Metric Counts
| Metric | What It Counts |
|---|---|
| Website Widget visitors | Visitors counted toward your monthly visitor allowance in the current period. This figure comes from the visitor counter, not from the date range you select. |
| Widget opens | Times a visitor opened the widget from its launcher. Counted once per page load. |
| Contact tab opens | Times the Contact tab was shown to a visitor. Counted once per page load. |
| Channel clicks | Presses on a channel in the Contact tab. Every press counts. |
| Contact actions | Completed actions: a form that was sent successfully, or a press on a link that leaves the widget, such as WhatsApp. The Overview tab labels this Completed Contact actions. |
Below the tiles, Widget opens over time charts opens for each day in the range, and Clicks by channel lists every channel type that was pressed, each with a count. Channel Performance explains how to read that card.
What Each Plan Includes
| Website Widgets Plan | What You See | Date Ranges |
|---|---|---|
| Free | The visitor counter only: Website Widget visitors this month, Monthly visitor allowance, Allowance used and Resets. | None |
| Starter | The five tiles, Widget opens over time and Clicks by channel. | Last 7 days, Last 30 days |
| Pro | Adds Top pages, Device breakdown and Widget performance, and a table by channel type on the Conversion Actions tab. | Adds Last 90 days |
| Business | Adds Country Breakdown, the channel filter and custom date ranges. | Adds Last 12 months |
| Agency | Everything on Business, plus the Agency tab. | Adds Last 24 months |
On Enterprise, analytics follow your agreement. Detailed analytics are collected only while the workspace is on a paid Website Widgets plan, so activity from a period on Free is not filled in after an upgrade. An AI Chatbot plan does not unlock Website Widgets analytics, and Bundle & Save changes the price only. Compare plans on Pricing.
Each date range is a rolling window that ends now, not a calendar month. Days on the chart are UTC days.
Filter By Website, Widget Or Channel
- Choose a date range with the buttons at the top of the tab.
- Choose a website in the website filter, which reads All websites until you pick one. The widget filter then lists only that website’s widgets.
- Choose a widget in the widget filter (All widgets) to see its figures alone.
- On Business and higher, choose one channel in the channel filter (All channels), which appears once a widget is selected.
With a channel selected, the view shows interactions with that channel only. Widget opens and country figures belong to the whole widget and are not attributed to a single channel.
On Business and higher, a Custom button sits beside the range buttons on the Overview and Conversion Actions tabs. The Website Widgets tab itself offers the preset ranges only. Pick a start and an end date in Select Date Range, then select Apply. A custom range cannot reach further back than the longest range on your plan.
Page, Device And Country Breakdowns
- Top pages lists the page addresses where your widget was used, each with its widget opens, channel clicks and Contact actions. Addresses are kept without query strings or fragments.
- Device breakdown splits the same three counts into mobile, tablet and desktop. It is based on the browser window size, so it can differ from the physical device.
- Widget performance lists your widgets with the same three counts for the current filters and period.
- Country Breakdown shows widget opens by visitor country for widgets that have a published Country Targeting rule. It is aggregated: the card lists the leading countries, groups the rest as Other, and never shows individual visitors.
Page and device details are captured for new events only; earlier events are not backfilled. The page, device and widget breakdowns and the Conversion Actions table are shown to workspace Owners and Admins. For how country rules work, see Country Targeting.
When Analytics Pause
The tab starts with a Monthly Website Widget visitors meter showing the current period and its reset date. If visitor usage passes the analytics pause threshold, which is 120% of the monthly visitor allowance (Enterprise follows its agreement), a notice reads Website Widget analytics are paused and the chart marks the affected days with Analytics Data Gap.
While analytics are paused, visitor counting continues and your widget keeps working for visitors. Collection resumes when the next period starts or after your plan limit changes. The missing days are not backfilled. Usage Counters And Limits covers every stage.
If The Numbers Look Wrong
- “No widget opens yet”: analytics appear once visitors start opening the widget. Confirm the widget is published and installed with Verify Your Installation.
- “No Website Widget activity for these filters”: choose a wider date range or set the website, widget and channel filters back to All.
- Only four counter tiles and a locked card: the workspace is on Website Widgets Free.
- An Ask AI-only placement shows nothing here: it has no Contact side, so its activity is reported under AI Chatbot Analytics.
- Totals differ from Google Analytics: Flidu’s dashboard and Google Analytics count independently, so do not expect identical figures.
