Channel Performance

See which contact channels visitors press and complete. Clicks by channel is on every paid Website Widgets plan, the table by channel type needs Pro, and filtering to one channel needs Business.

Channel performance answers one question: of the channels in your widget, which do visitors use? Flidu reports it in Website Widgets Analytics as counts for each channel type, with closer views on higher plans. The figures follow your Website Widgets plan.

Clicks And Completed Actions

Each channel can record two things. A channel click is a press on the channel in the Contact tab, and every press counts. A completed action is the last step Flidu can observe for that channel.

ChannelWhat Counts As A Completed Action
Contact Form, Feedback Form, Guided FormA submission that was sent successfully.
WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram DM, Maps, Leave A Review, Book Appointment, Resources, Offers, Custom LinksA press on the link that takes the visitor out of the widget.
FAQ, Business Hours, Services & PricingNone. These channels record clicks only.

For a link channel, the press is all Flidu sees. It cannot tell whether a WhatsApp message was sent, a call was made or a booking was finished. On Offers, copying an offer code counts as a completed action too. Treat the numbers as interest in a channel, not as leads or sales.

Read Clicks By Channel

  1. Open Analytics in the sidebar and select the Website Widgets tab.
  2. Choose a date range. Starter offers Last 7 days and Last 30 days; higher plans add longer ranges.
  3. Use the website and widget filters, which read All websites and All widgets until you choose, to look at one website or one widget.
  4. Scroll to the Clicks by channel card.

The card lists every channel type that was pressed in the range, each with a bar and a count of the activity recorded for it. Read it as a ranking of the channel types visitors use most. Some channels appear under a shorter name: Feedback, Instagram, Review, Booking, Services and Custom Link. The card groups by channel type, so two channels of the same type in one widget share a row. It shows counts only, with no percentages or shares. For clicks and completed actions as separate figures, use the table described in the next section.

When nothing was pressed, the card reads “No channel clicks recorded in this range yet.”

Compare Clicks With Completed Actions

Select the Conversion Actions tab on the Analytics page. Under Website Widgets, every paid plan sees three totals: Completed Contact actions, Contact tab opens and Channel clicks.

On Website Widgets Pro and higher, the tab adds a table titled Website Contact & conversion actions, with the columns Channel type, Clicks and Completed actions. It is shown to workspace Owners and Admins.

The two columns are most useful on forms. Clicks counts the times the form was opened and Completed actions counts the submissions that were sent, so a wide gap is a reason to review the form’s fields. On a link channel that opens straight away, one press is both a click and a completed action, so the two columns stay close. The table keeps the counts separate on purpose: it does not measure unique visitors, completed sales or attribution.

Look At One Channel On Its Own

On Website Widgets Business and higher, the Website Widgets tab has a channel filter, which reads All channels. It appears once you choose a widget in the widget filter. Channels are listed by their Channel Title when you have set one, and by channel type otherwise.

With a channel selected, the view shows interactions with that channel only. Widget opens and country figures belong to the whole widget, so they are not attributed to a single channel, and earlier activity that was recorded without a channel reference stays unattributed. This is the way to compare two channels of the same type, such as two WhatsApp channels for different teams.

Contact Channels Used After Ask AI

When a widget offers Contact and Ask AI together, AI Chatbot analytics show which Contact channels visitors turn to after asking a question. The Contact Actions after Ask AI card counts presses on a Contact channel by visitors who had already asked Ask AI something on that page. Most channel types have their own row, and the rest are grouped as Contact Channel.

You find it on the AI Chatbot tab of Analytics, on each assistant’s Analytics tab, and as Contact actions by type on the Conversion Actions tab. It belongs to the AI Chatbot product line, so it follows your AI Chatbot plan and needs Starter or higher. See AI Chatbot Analytics.

Website Widgets Free shows the visitor counter only. Channel clicks are not collected on Free, so they are not filled in after an upgrade. On Enterprise, analytics follow your agreement. Compare plans on Pricing.

If A Channel Shows No Clicks

  • The channel is not published. A draft channel, or a premium channel your plan does not include, is not shown to visitors. See The Widget Shows But A Channel Is Missing.
  • The filters are too narrow. Choose a wider date range and set the website, widget and channel filters back to All.
  • Analytics were paused. If the chart is marked Analytics Data Gap, clicks from those days were not collected and are not backfilled. See Usage Counters And Limits.
  • The widget is hidden for those visitors. A visibility or targeting rule that hides the Contact side also means no channel can be pressed.

For the other figures on the same tab, see Website Widgets Analytics.
