My Analytics Numbers Look Wrong Or Empty
Usually the plan shows counters only, a date range or filter hides the activity, or a figure counts something different from what you expect. Check the report, the plan, the range and the filters.
Analytics in Flidu is two separate reports on one page: one for Website Widgets and one for AI Chatbot. Each follows its own plan, and every figure is a count of events, not of people or sales. Numbers that look wrong usually come from reading the other report, a plan that shows counters only, a filter that hides the activity, or a figure that counts something different from what you assumed.
Check Which Report You Are Reading
Open Analytics in the dashboard sidebar. The page opens on Overview, a short summary of both product lines. For the full figures, select the Website Widgets tab or the AI Chatbot tab. Widget opens and channel clicks are on the first. Questions and answers from Ask AI are on the second. To see one widget on its own, stay on the Website Widgets tab and choose it in the Widget filter.
Check What Your Plan Shows
| Plan | What You See |
|---|---|
| Website Widgets Free | Four counter tiles for this month’s visitors and allowance, and a locked card titled Unlock Website Widget analytics. |
| Website Widgets Starter and above | Widget opens, Contact tab opens, channel clicks and Contact actions, with a chart and Clicks by channel. |
| AI Chatbot Free | A locked card titled Unlock AI analytics. The assistant’s own Analytics tab shows AI messages and chat sessions for the month. |
| AI Chatbot Starter and above | Questions asked, answers, Top Questions, Unanswered Questions and Chat Logs. |
Detailed Website Widgets events are recorded only while the workspace is on a paid Website Widgets plan. Activity from a time on Free is not filled in after an upgrade, so the report starts from the day you upgraded. A Website Widgets plan does not unlock AI analytics, an AI Chatbot plan does not unlock Website Widgets analytics, and Bundle & Save changes the price only. Compare plans on Pricing.
Check The Date Range And Filters
- Ranges are rolling windows that end now. Starter has Last 7 days and Last 30 days, Pro adds Last 90 days and Business adds Last 12 months. None of them is a calendar month or a billing period.
- Days on the chart are UTC days. A day boundary may not match midnight where you are.
- “No Website Widget activity for these filters” means nothing was recorded for that date range, website and widget together. Choose a wider range or clear the Website and Widget filters.
- The AI Chatbot tab has its own filters: Assistant, Website and Widget. Clear them to see every assistant.
- A selected channel narrows the view. On Business and above, the Channel filter shows interactions with one channel only. Widget opens belong to the whole widget and are not split by channel.
Check What Each Number Counts
| Figure | What It Counts |
|---|---|
| Website Widget visitors | Visitors counted toward your monthly allowance in the current period. A visitor is counted when a page loads a published widget with Contact channels, whether or not the widget is opened. This figure does not follow the date range you select. |
| Widget opens | Times the widget was opened. Counted once per page load. |
| Channel clicks | Every press on a channel in the Contact tab. |
| Contact actions | A form that was sent successfully, or a press on a link that leaves the widget, such as WhatsApp. |
| Questions asked | Questions visitors sent to Ask AI. |
- Visitors can be far higher than widget opens, because a visitor is counted even when the widget is never opened.
- Clicks and Contact actions overlap. For a link channel such as WhatsApp, one press is both a channel click and a Contact action. Flidu cannot see whether a message was then sent.
- Your own tests in Preview are missing on purpose. Questions you ask in an assistant’s Preview tab count toward monthly AI messages but do not appear in Analytics or Chat Logs. That is one reason AI messages used can be higher than Questions asked.
- Google Analytics will not match. Flidu’s dashboard and Google Analytics count independently.
Check For A Paused Period
If monthly visitors pass 120% of the plan’s visitor allowance (Enterprise follows its agreement), the Website Widgets tab shows Website Widget analytics are paused and the chart marks the affected days with Analytics Data Gap. Visitor counting continues and the widget keeps working for visitors, but detailed events for those days are not collected and are not backfilled. Collection resumes with the next period or after your plan limit changes. Usage Counters And Limits covers each stage.
Check That There Is Activity To Count
- “No widget opens yet” means nothing was recorded in the selected date range. Try a wider range first. If it still shows, confirm the widget is published and installed with Verify Your Installation.
- “No AI messages yet” means no visitor question was recorded for the selected range and filters. Try a wider range, then confirm that Ask AI is published on a widget.
- “Analytics is available to workspace owners and admins.” Ask the workspace Owner or an Admin to open the report.
- “We couldn’t load analytics” is a loading problem, not missing data. Select Try again.
What A Correct Result Looks Like
On a paid Website Widgets plan, open your live website, open the widget and press a channel. Then reload Analytics, select Website Widgets, choose Last 7 days and clear the filters. Widget opens and Channel clicks should each have gone up. For what every tile and card means, see Website Widgets Analytics and AI Chatbot Analytics.
