Powered By Flidu Control
The Powered by Flidu link shows on every widget by default. See which plans can hide it, where the workspace switch lives, and what happens when plans change.
Every Flidu widget shows a small Powered by Flidu link in its footer. It is on by default on every plan. A workspace can hide it once either of its product lines, Website Widgets or AI Chatbot, is on Business or higher. The choice is made once for the whole workspace, not for each widget.
What Visitors See
The link sits at the bottom of the open widget, under the Contact channels and under Ask AI alike. It is one line of text, and clicking it opens the Flidu website in a new tab. When the link is hidden, that footer line is removed and nothing takes its place. The link can be hidden but not reworded or replaced with your own logo.

- One product line is enough. Website Widgets Business unlocks the control even when AI Chatbot is on Free, and the other way round.
- Lower plans do not add up. Starter on one line and Pro on the other still keep the link visible.
- It covers every widget in the workspace, including Ask AI-only widgets.
- It is decided per workspace. A second workspace needs Business or higher on one of its own product lines before the link can be hidden there.
- It changes nothing else. Limits, analytics, Data Hub access and targeting still follow each product line’s own plan.

Hide Or Show The Link
You need to be the Owner or an Admin of the workspace.
- In the dashboard sidebar, open Workspace Settings. The current workspace is named beside the page title; check it is the one you mean.
- Find the Powered by Flidu card. On an eligible workspace its chip reads Included and the switch is on.
- Turn the switch off. A dialog asks Keep "Powered by Flidu" visible?
- Click Remove branding to hide the link, or Keep branding to leave it showing.
- The chip changes to Hidden, and the card notes that the link is hidden on your public widgets.
To bring the link back, turn the switch on again; there is no confirmation step. Neither change needs publishing. Your widgets pick up the setting the next time a page loads.

When The Control Is Locked
While both product lines are below Business, the card shows a Locked chip and the text “Branding removal is included from Business on either product line.” The switch stays on and cannot be changed. The button Remove Powered by Flidu branding opens a short explanation with an Upgrade to Business button, which takes you to Billing so you can upgrade either product line. Billing is open to the Owner, and to an Admin only when the Owner has allowed billing access.
What Happens When Your Plan Changes
The link is hidden only while the workspace is eligible and the switch is off. If the workspace later drops below Business on both product lines, the link shows again on every widget. Your choice stays saved, so it applies again if the workspace returns to Business or higher.
If The Link Is Still Showing
- The page was already open. Reload it. The widget reads the setting when a page loads.
- The switch was changed in another workspace. The setting belongs to the workspace named on the Workspace Settings page. Switch to the workspace that owns the widget and check its card.
- You are looking at the dashboard preview. The Live Preview on a widget’s page shows the link whatever this setting is. Check the installed widget on your website.
- The card says Unavailable. The setting is temporarily unavailable and cannot be changed for the moment. Click Try again.
- The card says branding is managed by workspace owners and admins. Your role is Viewer. Ask an Owner or Admin to change the setting.
