I Cannot Sign In To My Account
Flidu has no passwords: you sign in with an emailed 6-digit code, Google or a passkey. Find the screen or message you are stuck on and follow the fix for it.
Flidu has no passwords, so there is nothing to reset. You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, with Google, or with a passkey you added earlier. Whatever is stopping you shows up as a specific screen or message. Find yours below.
How Sign-In Works
The sign-in page offers Continue with Google and Continue with Email. After you enter your email, select Email Me a Code or, if you saved one, Use a Passkey. The method you used last on this browser is labelled Last used. Signing in never creates an account: it only opens one that already exists.
Match The Message To The Fix
| What You See | What To Do |
|---|---|
| No code arrives | Follow My Sign-In Code Is Not Arriving. |
| That code isn’t right | Enter the code from the newest email. Earlier codes stop working when you ask for another. |
| This code has expired | Codes last 10 minutes. Send a new one from the same screen. |
| Too many code requests | Wait for the countdown shown on the screen, then ask once. |
| No Flidu Account for This Google Account | That Google address has no Flidu account. Select Try Another Method and use the email you signed up with, or select Create an Account. |
| Google Didn’t Share Your Account | Select Try Google Again and allow access to your email address on Google’s screen. |
| Google Sign-In Is Temporarily Unavailable | Select Continue with Email and sign in with a code. |
| No passkey found on this device | The passkey may be saved on another device. Select Email Me a Code Instead. |
| This passkey doesn’t match that email | Pick a passkey saved for the email you typed, or sign in with a code. |
| Verification check failed — try again | Reload the page and try once more. |
| One More Step | Two-factor protection is on. Confirm with your authenticator app, your passkey or a recovery code. |
You Are Signing In With A Different Address
A code is sent, and Google sign-in works, only for the email address on your Flidu account. An address with no account gets no email, and the screen does not say so. Try each address you might have used.
- If you signed up with Google, your account is under the email of that Google account.
- If you changed your sign-in email in Profile Settings, use the new one.
- A workspace invitation can be accepted only while you are signed in with the address it was sent to.
You Never Finished Creating The Account
Verifying your email during sign-up does not create an account. The account and its workspace are created only when you select Create Account and Workspace on the Complete Your Account screen. If you stopped before that, open the sign-up page and go through the steps again with the same address. If the screen says You already have a Flidu account, select Sign In Instead.
You Are Asked For A Second Step
If you turned on two-factor protection by adding a passkey or an authenticator app, signing in with a code or Google ends on a screen titled One More Step. It cannot be skipped. If you no longer have the method it asks for, see I Lost Access To My Two-Step Verification.
You Were Signed Out Unexpectedly
The sign-in page may say Your session expired. Sign in again to continue where you left off. Sign in again as usual. You are also signed out on your other devices when you select Sign Out All Other Sessions in Profile Settings, change your sign-in email, or remove your authenticator app. If you did none of these, read I Think Someone Else Accessed My Account.
You No Longer Have That Inbox
Codes always go to the email on your account. If you can still get in with Google or a passkey, open Profile Settings from the account menu, find Email Address, enter a New Email Address and select Change Email. Flidu asks you to confirm with a passkey or an authenticator app, then sends a 6-digit code to the new address. If you have neither, add one in Profile Settings first. Your current email keeps working until the new one is verified.
If you cannot sign in by any method, contact Flidu from an address where you can receive mail and explain what happened. Support reviews the account with you. An email on its own does not restore access, and recovery is not guaranteed.
Your Account Access Was Suspended
If you received an email with the subject Your Flidu account access is suspended, you cannot sign in to the dashboard while the suspension lasts. Contact Flidu to have it reviewed.
What A Correct Result Looks Like
After the code, Google or passkey step, and the second step if two-factor protection is on, your dashboard opens. A passkey added in Profile Settings signs you in without a code. Adding one also turns on two-factor protection, so sign-ins with a code or Google will then ask for it as a second step.
